the respected judiciary system, a chuckle, roll sweat, bouquet toss = altitude loss

the respected judiciary system:
so yesterday I had jury duty. i had never been summoned before so this was a REAL treat. I checked in, watched a 20 min video with a couple hundred folks, was told we had a 10 min bathroom break and to be back in the room by 915 because jurors may or may not be called back to serve.

9:15 came and went. so did 9:16, 9:17, 9:18...and so on until it was 11:45. fantastic. then we heard the good word from the jury commissioner (who finally decided to return 2 and a half hours after she was supposed to)...there were going to be no cases on the docket that day. we would all be released upon final approval from the head judge.

didn't you know there were no cases at um...earlier?

ah well. this is what i saw for over 3 hours. i call it "meeeeeow." please look closely and find the kitty. if your thought process is "um, like what?" so was mine.

a chuckle:

roll sweat:
yes. that's right. my rolls sweat when i'm seated for too long in the summer. no matter how small a roll it may be, you can bet your bottom dollar that it will have anywhere from a sheen of sweat to a catastrophic wave of perspiration. that is all.

bouquet toss = altitude loss:

read the tale of "oh my gosh who will the next to get married? teehee" turned to "oh shit who can survive a small plane crash."

so much for tradition. whoopsies.

Leave it to the Italians to figure out how to bring down a plane with flowers. They's some laid-back, romantic fascists!
